The Emittun emerged from the living heart of Borikén, where roots breathe beneath the soil and the forest remembers through leaf, seed, and bloom.

Their people walk softly upon the earth, believing every tree carries a memory, every root guards a promise, and every seed holds a future waiting to awaken.

Yaya's breath nourishes them and binds them to the land they protect — not as owners, but as children entrusted with its care.

🌱 II. Initiation Ritual — "The Vow of the Maga"

To be recognized by the Emittun, the initiate plants a maga seed in sacred soil and tends to it through sun, rain, hunger, and season.

They must not force its growth, nor abandon it when the earth seems silent. They learn that harmony is not control, but devotion without demand.

Only when the first crimson flower blooms are they recognized as ready — rooted in patience, nourished by purpose, and entrusted by Yaya.
